<p>The case is for a pushbutton telephone (1) that has a pushbutton keyboard (2), and an opening and closing cover (8) which swings down to cover the pushbuttons, or opens up to expose the buttons. The cover has two posts (11,15) on each side of the base, which slot into holes in the main telephone body (16). Each post has a helical coil spring (22,23) with a right angled elbow at its end. Each helical coil is wound in an opposite direction, providing a stable open and closed position.</p> |
