The orthopaedic appliance for automatic boring of human bones will find application in medicine, orthopaedic medicine in particular, in the process of recovery after different kinds of traumas. It consists of a cylindrical case (1) with an electric motor (2) located at its bottom, on the axle of the electric motor there being mounted a screw (3) with a nut (4) suspended on two parallel cylindrical bodies (5) that are mounted on bushes (6), while at the other end of the screw (3) there is coaxially positioned an electric motor (7), on the axle of which a force moment sensor (8) is mounted, in the sensitive part of the latter there being placed a cutting tool (9) with a temperature pick-up (10 mounted in its point, whereat the motors (2 and 7) are connected to a personal computer (12) through an interface (11).
