<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high quality image by permitting multi-stage expression of gradation of each picture element when exposure is effected by an LED. SOLUTION: A latent image is formed on the surface of a light sensitive drum 17M by the exposure from an LED array 19M and an LED array 20M, which are provided with different quantity of light and arranged in the rotating (advancing) direction of the light sensitive drum 18M in one row in the rotating direction and vertical direction (longitudinal direction) respectively, whereby the exposure with a plurality of LEDs for each picture element with a different light volume can be effected and multi-stage expression of degradation of each picture element is made possible.</p> |
