<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently mass-producing an M-toxin having sufficiently high natural-type activity in expressing a protein encoded by the corresponding gene. <P>SOLUTION: This method for expressing the cytotoxic protein M-toxin of substantially natural-type activity comprises coexpression of cell itself or various cellular organs with chaperone protein.
