摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate defects of a stent and other medical devices by low radiopacity. <P>SOLUTION: In a stent or other medical devices having a marker formed of housings integrated with a stent and a marker insert with radiopacity higher than that of the stent, the stent can accurately be arranged in a blood vessel and acquire a clear image after treatment because the radiopacity of the stent under fluoroscopy is increased. The housing is formed integrally with the stent. The marker insert is formed of a material near that of the stent and has a size to substantially minimize influence of galvanic corrosion. The housing has a shape to minimize influence given to the whole profile of the stent. The stent and other medical devices may be formed of an alloy with high radiopacity without sacrificing any characteristics of a base alloy of the forming material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
