PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for optical elements that upgrades a light extraction efficiency of an organic electroluminescence element and an organic electroluminescence element with a high brightness as well as an organic electroluminescence display device. SOLUTION: A substrate for optical elements including a light-scattering portion that scatters a visible light and a light-permeable opening portion that transmits visible light, in a light-transparent substrate that transmits visible light, is used for the light extraction substrate of an organic electroluminescence element. Therefore, a light extraction efficiency to the outside of the substrate is increased, and the organic electroluminescence element is obtained with a high brightness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
