<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stationary electrolyte zinc-bromine secondary battery for power capable of displaying satisfactory performance of secondary batteries for power, having simple construction, and capable of being easily assembled. <P>SOLUTION: The battery is a one-pack type stationary electrolyte zinc-bromine secondary battery for power equipped with a negative pole 24 and a positive pole 20 having corrosion resistance to an electrolyte containing zinc bromide. On the positive pole 20 side of the negative pole 24, a non-conductive bromine adsorption filter layer 16 which is made of nonwoven fabric made up of glass fiber whose superficial area measured by a BET method is 0.5 m<SP>2</SP>/g or more, adsorbs bromine in the electrolyte and prevents the bromine from reaching the negative pole, is provided, and between the filter layer 16 and the positive pole 20, a conductive bromine accumulation layer 18 which is made of graphite particles, adsorbs and accumulates bromine generated on the positive pole 20 when charging is performed, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
