PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which is available when printed matter with an electronic tag is copied by reading attribute information and original image data of the printed matter from the electronic tag, wherein the image forming device can store the attribute information and the original image data of an original copy even if printing is carried out on printing paper with an IC tag by modifying the attribute information of the original copy.

SOLUTION: An MFP 100A as the image forming device reads out the attribute information of the IC tag of the original copy of the printed matter with the IC tag set in an ADF141 by an IC tag reader 143A, and displays the modifiable attribute information on an operating section 130, followed by receiving an input of a modification instruction. Then the MFP reads out the image data from the IC tag of the original copy by the IC tag reader 143A, and receives an input of an instruction whether the attribute information and the image data before or after the modification should be written into the IC tag of the printing paper sheet with the IC tag. Thereafter the image data modified based on the attribute information after the modification is printed on the printing paper sheet with the IC tag by a printing section 151, and the attribute information and the image data before or after the modification are written into the IC tag of the printing paper sheet according to the instruction.
