The arrangement has a lamella packet (4) in a housing with inner (1) and outer lamella supports and a piston (6) movable in a cylinder hydraulically operated by pressurized oil. A radial bore (3) is provided in a shaft (2) in the shift or start-up element, via which the oil can be delivered to the lamella packet, whereby the quantity of cooling oil fed to the packet can be mechanically controlled as a function of the piston position.
