PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improvement in a refrigerator eliminating frost on a partition wall by a heater. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 is formed with two chambers 13, 10 of different temperature zones by partitioning the inside of a heat insulated box body 6 by a partition wall 7, wherein the partition wall 7 of a portion facing the chamber 10 of the higher temperature zone is heated by an electric heater 119 to prevent frost. The refrigerator 1 is provided with a control means for controlling the heating value of the electric heater. The control means increases the heating value of the electric heater 119 when the set temperature of the chamber 10 of the higher temperature zone becomes high, reduces the heating value of the electric heater 119 when the set temperature of the chamber 10 of the higher temperature zone becomes low, and reduces the heating value of the electric heater 119 when an outside air temperature is high based on the output of an outside air temperature sensor 111.
