An abutment stand type filter plate transfer apparatus of a filter press is provided to perform the installation and manufacture of a transfer device, thereby enhancing the working efficiency. A latchet member(11) comprises a pair of latches, is contact with a transfer support member and transfers a filtering plate. A label member(12) rotates elastically the latchet member. A latch support plate(13) supports the latchet member and the label member. A transfer plate(14) transfers the latchet member and the label member compulsorily and has a transfer groove so that the erection of the latchet member is prevented. The latchet member is contacted with the transfer support member and transfers the filtering plate.
