METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING MULTIPLE WAITING MODE SERVICE

A method and a system for providing a multi-standby mode service are provided to offer updated information to various applications simultaneously or successively in the waiting status of a mobile communication terminal by comprising a standby mode agent which manages the standby mode applications. A system for providing a multi-standby mode service comprises the followings: a mobile communication terminal(110) which performs a voice call via a mobile communication network(120) and stores plural applications, and provides the multi-standby mode service by comprising a standby mode agent which manages states of the applications; and a standby mode service server(130) which receives information about states of the applications from the mobile communication terminal and updates the applications according to the status information.
