#CMT# #/CMT# The damper (1) has plates (3, 4, 6), where the plate (6) is rotatable opposite to the other plates (3, 4), and a liquid e.g. fused salt liquid, provided in a gap (7) between the plates, where the gap between the plates extends radially outward. The liquid exhibits a large surface tension, so that the liquid moves into the gap between the plates. The plate (6) exhibits a flat cone on its side facing the other plates (3, 4), where the liquid exhibits desired capillary effect. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Liquid e.g. ionic liquid such as fused salt liquid and silicone oil, rotation damper for absorbing the spring-actuated movement of a flap and a drawer of an HiFi-device and a grap handle in an automobile. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The rotation damper holds the liquid between the plates in a simple manner. The utilization of the ionic liquid eliminates the need of gas density sealing, so that the danger of the liquid being volatilized by evaporation is avoided.
