The machine has a displacement body (1) arranged between a heater (2) and a cooler (1). A working piston (4) moving coaxial to the displacement body is arranged in a cylinder (5) that is connected with a work area. The body is designed in a hollow cone-shape. The body has a flattened cone top (6), at which a displacement body-bar (7) is attached in a direction of a symmetry axis of the body. The heater is arranged inside the body and the cooler is arranged outside the body. A wall of the body tapers from the cone top to a cone base. The piston is designed as a thin-walled hollow cylinder.
