A system and a method for managing hot charge billets and strand information of the hot charge billets are provided to allow an operator to easily obtain billet information on the weight, surface temperature and length of a billet and strand information of the billet through a terminal and easily confirm only a poor billet material through the terminal so as to reduce an accident processing time. A system for managing a continuous casting apparatus producing billets includes a management server(100), a steelmaking information server(200), a rolling information server(300) and a continuous casting information PLC(Programmable Logic Controller)(400). The management server stores billet information and strand information of billets. The steelmaking information server stores the billet information. The rolling information server transmits the billet information and the strand information to the management server and transmits/receives the bit information and strand information to/from the steelmaking information server. The continuous casting information PLC receives the billet information and the strand information from the continuous casting apparatus and transmits the billet information and the strand information to the steelmaking information server. |
