<p>A lighting apparatus having an auxiliary lamp and a method thereof are provided to improve visual convenience by illuminating light naturally through an auxiliary lamp using various colors. A lighting apparatus having an auxiliary lamp includes at least one fluorescent lamp(110), an auxiliary lamp(120), a control unit(140), a power unit(150), a housing(130), and a lamp cover(160). The auxiliary lamp is installed on both sides of the fluorescent lamp, and is composed of a plurality of multi-color LED(Light-Emitting Diode) elements which flicker a light having a different wavelength. The control unit has a fluorescent control module which controls a flickering of the fluorescent lamp, and an auxiliary lamp control module which controls a flickering of the LED element of the auxiliary lamp. The control unit controls the fluorescent lamp and the auxiliary lamp to be flickered in response to a flickering sequence, a flickering combination, a flickering time and a flickering speed. The power unit provides or cuts off a power to the fluorescent lamp and the auxiliary lamp in response to a control signal transferred from the control unit. A remote control unit transmits a signal for controlling the fluorescent lamp and the auxiliary lamp through a wireless communication. The housing has the fluorescent lamp, the auxiliary lamp, the power unit and the control unit. The lamp cover is coupled to the housing. A wooden pattern is formed on the lamp cover.</p> |
