<p>A plastics-processing system as well as a method for its control is described, wherein the system features at least one feeding device for polymer melting, especially an extruder (10), a conveying device, especially a melting pump (14), a filter mechanism (16) and a tool (18). In order to maintain a constant volume flow as well when a variation in volume occurs between the feeding device and the tool, it is suggested that, when said variation in volume occurs, a volume control device be activated which influences the feed rate of the feeding device in such way that the variation in volume is compensated for. The volume control device includes a regulator circuit which uses the tool inlet pressure as a control variable.</p> |
