PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection accuracy in detecting presence of an object, using a plurality of sensors. SOLUTION: A vehicle detection part 120 detects the presence of a vehicle of a detection object region using an image acquired by a camera part 110. A vehicle detecting part 140 detects the presence of the vehicle in the detection object region using the intensity distribution of reflected waves received by a radar part 130. A vehicle position comparison part 151 compares the vehicle positions notified from the vehicle detecting part 120 and the vehicle detecting part 140 and confirms the correspondence relation of each vehicle position. A fusion determining part 152 acquires the intensity distribution of the reflected waves from the radar part 130, when the vehicle detection part 140 does not detect a vehicle at the vehicle position notified from the vehicle detection part 120. The fusion determining part 152 refers to the intensity of the reflected waves, at the vehicle position notified from the vehicle detection part 120 and determines that there may be a vehicle, if the intensity of the reflective waves is not 0.
