The present invention relates to a system for recovering a buoyancy tank and a method for recovering the buoyancy tank. When a steel gravity structure (SGS), which is a structure below the topside, is constructed on site, at the time of recovering a buoyancy tank used to maintain stability of the steel gravity structure, ILT is coupled with a lifting can using a crane, and, when the buoyancy tank is lifted using the crane after a securing pin is removed using a remotely operated vehicle (ROV), the buoyancy tank is lifted together with a lift sling that is previously hung. Therefore, a worker need not directly and separately perform a work of hanging the lift sling below the sea level under very bad conditions for performing lifting, so the lifting work is easy and there is no risk of safety accident. |
