PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a chord-generating digital signal for generating a chord from one buzzer.SOLUTION: In a first step, duty ratios of a plurality of sound source digital signals of different frequencies, a signal A (600 Hz for example) and B (500 Hz for example), are reduced (to a duty ratio of 10% for the signal A and 8.3% for the signal B, for example). In a second step after the first step, phases of the plurality of sound source digital signals A and B are shifted relative to each other (for example, the phase of the signal B having a lower frequency is delayed by an amount equivalent to its duty ratio of 8.3%) such that "HI" portions of waveforms of the plurality of sound source digital signals do not overlap with each other. In a third step after the second step, the plurality of sound source digital signals are combined to produce a chord-generating digital signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
