PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw compressor including an unload mechanism using a sliding valve, for enabling its efficient operation throughout the year by preventing the leakage of discharge gas to the low-pressure side while suppressing excessive compression loss during partial load.SOLUTION: An inclined face 78 of a discharge opening adjusting part of a sliding valve 70 is formed so that a discharge port 25 is shut off from a spiral groove 41 always during partial load, and the inclination angle thereof to a plane rectangular to the axis is greater in an area closer to an engagement part with a gate rotor 50 than in an area farther therefrom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
