PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to determine presence or absence of an off-set failure of a sensor without any additional component.SOLUTION: An intake manifold negative pressure sensor 44 detects a pressure in an air suction pipe 32 provided in an engine 12, and a booster negative pressure sensor 52 detects a pressure in a negative pressure chamber provided in a brake booster 48. An engine ECU 56 gives a notification on abnormality when a booster negative pressure sensor value approaches a vacuum side with respect to an intake manifold negative pressure sensor value during a pressure in the negative pressure chamber is recovered, or when a difference between the intake manifold negative pressure sensor value and the booster negative pressure sensor value exceeds a threshold in the state that a pressure in the air suction pipe 32 is stable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
