PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation control device capable of performing efficient power generation control according to a travel condition of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A power generation control device is intended for a generator capable of generating power using a part of output of an engine mounted on a vehicle. When power generation efficiency of the generator is smaller than a maximum power generation efficiency, the power generation control device changes a charging current of the generator so that the power generation efficiency approaches the maximum power generation efficiency. An energy storage control means stores a fluctuation portion of an amount of power generation as other physical energy in an energy storage device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
