<p>PURPOSE: An in-plane switching liquid crystal display device is provided to improve the brightness and an aperture ratio of the in-plane switching liquid crystal display device by increasing the transmissivity of light. CONSTITUTION: An in-plane switching liquid crystal display device includes a substrate(100); a plurality of gate wires(150) and a plurality of data wires(170) crossing each other on the substrate for defining pixel areas; a plurality of common wires(160) separated from the plurality of gate wires at regular intervals; a plurality of thin film transistors positioned at crossing points of the gate wires and the data wires, and including gate electrodes(152), active layers(154), source electrodes(156), and drain electrodes(158); a plurality of common electrodes(162) vertically branched from the common wires to the pixel areas; a plurality of pixel electrodes(164) separated from the common electrodes at regular intervals; and dialectic film patterns(172) formed following two electrodes on the pixel electrodes and the common electrodes.</p> |
