PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rubber roll having an elastic layer, which roll has excellent shape precision and in which roll generation of an empty space (a void) is suppressed.SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for producing the rubber roll includes: a rubber feed part 18 in which a gap between an inside wall of a body part 26 to be located in a weir region 102 and a weir part of a screw 27 is 0.15 mm or smaller and a ratio D1/D2 of the inside diameter D1 of the body part 26 to be located in a first compression zone 101 to the inside diameter D2 of the body part 26 to be located in a second compression zone 104 is 1.5-2.0; an extrusion part 20 in which the rubber material fed from the rubber feed part 18 is extruded into a cylindrical shape; and a core metal feed part 24 for feeding a core metal 22 to the central part of the rubber material extruded into the cylindrical shape from the extrusion part 20. The method for producing the rubber roll comprises a first step of using the apparatus for producing the rubber roll, extruding the rubber material into the cylindrical shape from the extrusion part 20, and feeding the core metal 22 to the central part of the rubber material extruded into the cylindrical shape from the core metal feed part 24 to cover the outer peripheral surface of the core metal 22 with the rubber material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
