PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of reducing an operation amount, the number of times of operation, labor and the like of a pedal upon congestion traveling.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes: a judgement part which judges whether or not a vehicle travels a congestion section in which, for example, congestion occurs; a calculation part which calculates a reference speed based on an average speed of the vehicle on the congestion section; and a control part which controls an acceleration of the vehicle. Therein, the control part, when it is judged that the vehicle travels the congestion section, is configured so as to limit the acceleration of the vehicle to a reference acceleration based on the reference speed or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
