A video contents providing system, a mobile terminal, and a video contents providing method using the same are provided to offer video contents, which uses the intrinsic number of the mobile terminal and DRM(Digital Rights Management) is applied to, to a user, thereby enabling a provider to distribute the video contents safely and enabling the user to use various video contents of high quality easily. A video contents providing system(400) comprises a DRM generating unit(410), a contents coding unit(430), a reproduction program generating unit(440), and a transmitting unit(450). The DRM generating unit generates a coding key and a decoding key based on the intrinsic number of a mobile terminal. The contents coding unit codes contents purchased on the basis of the coding key to generate coded contents. The reproduction program generating unit generates a reproduction program for reproducing the coded contents through the decoding key. The transmitting unit transmits the coded contents and the reproduction program to the mobile terminal which has purchased contents.
