The method involves placing a bottom layer (2) of bricks (1). A reticulated sheet made of fabric is placed on the bottom layer of bricks so as to cover a cavity of brick. An adhesive e.g. polyurethane adhesive is applied on reticulated sheet in a flowable state, and then adhesive is hardened. An upper layer (3) of bricks is placed on the bottom layer of bricks. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) assembly for manufacturing composite block; and (2) composite block.
