PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing implement and a method for arranging a seal means in the writing implement capable of assembling a means for performing the sealing among a shaft, a core holder and an in-shaft fitting part of a tail plug automatically and efficiently without relying on man power and, thereby, sharply improving the assembling efficiency of the writing implement.SOLUTION: A writing implement includes a core holder 3 fitted to a shaft 1 in which inner cotton or ink is incorporated via a seal means and/or a tail plug 11. Therein, the seal means are the core holder 3 primarily molded according to a double mold method and a ring shaped seal 8, 13 formed on the in-shaft fitting part 7, 12 of the tail plug 11 according to a secondary molding. A belt-like gate 9, 14 is provided so as to surround a circumferential surface of the in-shaft fitting part 7, 12 continuously to the ring-shaped seal 8, 13 and a depression part 10, 15 for storing the ring-shaped seal 8, 13 and the belt-like gate 9, 14 is circumferentially provided on a circumferential surface of the in-shaft fitting part 7, 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
