PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity sorting device being capable of accelerating a processing speed while reducing a device in size.SOLUTION: A commodity sorting device includes: a transportation path; a transportation unit; a loading section; a sorting section; and a control unit. The transportation path has a curve. The transportation unit transports a commodity loaded in a second transportation direction intersecting with a first transportation direction of the transportation path while being moved on the transportation path. The loading section loads the commodity onto the transportation unit. The sorting section sorts the commodity transported by the transportation unit. The control unit controls the transportation unit such that a position of the commodity on a placement surface placed with the commodity in the transportation unit is a position shifted inside a radial direction of the curve with respect to a center position of the placement surface when a curvature radius of the curve is less than a predetermined threshold value before the transportation unit enters the curve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
