A valve (1), in which between a connection piece (3; 4) and the chamber (5) holding the sealing body (6) a filtration chamber (8) is contained, which has an axis (8a) at right angles to the axial axis (2a) of the valve (1) and which is provided with a cartridge-type filter insert (9) having a side inlet opening (13) for the flowing medium, wherein the filter insert (9) has wing-type projections (14) for positioning the filter insert (9) in the filtration chamber (8). A similar filtration chamber (8) having a filter insert (9) provided with an inlet opening is provided in a filtration connection piece (1). The valve or connection piece provided with an integrated filter insert (9) is particularly usable in water and gas distribution equipment. <IMAGE> |
