PURPOSE:To improve image quality by incorporating respectively fine silver halide particles and a compd. into the silver halide color photographic sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The fine silver halide particles which have the average size below 0.15mum, are adsorbed with the compd. forming a silver salt having the harder solubility than silver bromide and has >=50mol% silver chloride content and the compd. expressed by the formula I are incorporated into the silver halide color photographic sensitive material. In the formula, A denotes a residual coupler group which eliminates (TIME)n-B by coupling reaction with the oxidant of an arom. primary amine developing agent; TIME denotes a timing group which bonds to the coupling active position of A and releases B after elimination from A by the coupling reaction; B denotes a restraining group. The image quality is greatly improved in this way. |
