PURPOSE:To effectively discriminate a type of a circuit board and to reduce a recognition time and a memory capacity by providing an arbitrary orbit on circuit patterns on a plurality of various type circuit boards, and switching the type according to a difference of the pattern such as a copper foil part, etc., on the orbit. CONSTITUTION:A circuit board 6 to be mounted is conveyed to a loader rail 7 and conveyed to a mounting machine 1, and secured to a predetermined position on an X-Y table 8. When a circuit board A is conveyed, the table 8 is moved to a recognition position of a sensor 2 on an orbit on the board A to recognize a copper foil part on the orbit. Data for discriminating the recognized type on the orbit is compared with a type discriminating data previously stored in a circuit pattern memory 4. Since the type of the conveyed board 6 is the board A, a production type is switched by calling mounting program data for the board A from processing data memory means 5 by selecting means. These operations are conducted, and the board is mounted with processing data corresponding to the type of the board 6. |
