PURPOSE:To provide an improved laminated type piezoelectric element in which a temperature gradient at the time of driving the element does not exist from a center of the element to a periphery. CONSTITUTION:In a laminated type piezoelectric element 10 in which platelike piezoelectric elements 1 made of PbTiO3-PbZrO3 ceramics and inner electrodes 2 are alternately laminated and integrated, the element 1 is formed of mixture of the ceramics and at least one of metals M* belonging to group IIA, Va or Vb elements. In this case, a concentration of the metal M has a concentration distribution so inclined as to gradually increase or decrease from a center of the element 1 toward its periphery. |
