<p>PURPOSE:To provide the method for separating and refining hydrogen by using a hydrogen occlusion alloy which is high in a separating and refining speed and can recover the high-purity hydrogen. CONSTITUTION:This process has a 1st coarse grain separating stage for separating coarse particles 3 from a mixture 6 composed of the coarse particles 3 and fine particles 4 of the hydrogen occlusion alloy and a liquid inert to the hydrogen occlusion alloy, a hydrogen occlusion stage which occludes the hydrogen by bringing a hydrogen-contg. gas 7 into contact with the coarse particles 3, a stage for mixing the fine particles 4 and liquid separated in the 1st coarse particle separating stage with the coarse particles 3 and transferring the mixture, a 2nd coarse grain separating stage for separating the coarse particles 3 from the mixture, a hydrogen releasing stage for releasing the hydrogen 9 from the separated coarse particles 3, and a sage for mixing the fine particles with liquid separated in the 2nd coarse particles separating stage and transferring the mixture to the 1st coarse particle separating stage.</p> |
