<p>The cargo carrying body for a truck or trailer is provided with an opening at the rear of the floor to receive liquids flowing on the floor. A collector tank located below the opening receives such liquids. A baffle means between the collector tank and the opening prevents back splash from the tank to the trailer. The body floor has an anti-corrosion sealant. The anti-corrosion floor sealant is continued up the side and front walls for one or two feet to produce a 'bath' type construction. The body floor is sloped toward the rear either through : (a) natural attitude of the truck or trailer; (b) the mount of the body on the truck or trailer; or (c) the attitude of the floor in the body.</p> |
