<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hepatocyte culture substrate for enabling the proliferation of hepatocyte and a method for using the substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides a hepatocyte culture substrate containing at least one synthetic peptide derived from mouse or human laminin, a method for the proliferation of hepatocyte by using the substrate, and a cellular composite material containing the substrate and cultured hepatocytes, wherein the synthetic peptide is bonded to the whole or a part of the surface of a supporting material, and the supporting material is composed of natural polymers, synthetic polymers, metals, ceramics, glass, woven fabrics or nonwoven fabrics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
