<p>PURPOSE:To improve the stacking performance of paper sheets discharged from a printer or the like. CONSTITUTION:A paper sheet 13 which is guided by a carrying device and discharged from a discharge port 4 is loaded on a loading table 9. The difference in height between the discharge port 4 and the uppermost surface of the paper sheets 13 is detected by the output of an angle sensor 11 when the discharge port 4 provided in an elevatable manner is at the upper limit. The discharge port 4 is elevated/lowered so that the difference may be kept to the specified value determined on the experimental and experience basis taking into consideration the stacking performance.</p> |
