<p>PURPOSE:To suppress vibration and noise during operation while extending a life of a water turbine runner by calculating an optimum rotational speed and optimum guide vane opening on an optimum operation line in accordance with a head and output, to sacrifice slight water turbine efficiency. CONSTITUTION:In an induction machine 1 rotated by a water turbine 2, an AC excitating current is supplied to a secondary winding 1b from a secondary excitation control unit 3, and further AC power of equal frequency to an AC system is output from a primary winding 1a. Here in a water turbine characteristic function generator 5, a power plant output command Po and a water level detection signal Ho are inputted to output an optimum rotational speed command na and an optimum guide vane opening command Ya. On the other hand, in a rotational speed control unit 16, the optimum rotational speed command na is compared with a rotational speed detection signal N from a rotational speed detector 6, to output a guide vane opening correction signal DELTAY. The optimum guide vane opening command Ya and the guide vane opening correction signal DELTAY are added in an adder 21 and input to a driving gear 10 of a guide vane 11.</p> |
