<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a foaming rubber roller in which sticking does not occur in a pressurized contact part with a photoreceptor even when used for a long period of time or left standing in high temperature and to provide a foaming rubber roller. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is for the foaming rubber roller provided with a shaft and a cylindrical foaming rubber layer held on its outer circumference. The method includes; a molding step of molding the cylindrical foaming rubber layer, a primary curing step of curing the formed cylindrical foaming rubber layer to a state where a shape can be retained, a polishing step of polishing a surface of the cylindrical foaming rubber layer after the primary curing, and a secondary curing step of curing the cylindrical foaming rubber layer after polishing to a final curing degree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
