<p>The invented process for preparing single crystals to jewel and artificial jewellery stones is characterized in that a mixture of oxides of stoichiometric composition Mgi(1-x)Ali2xTii(2-x)Oi5, wherein x represents 0 that is less than or equal to x that is less than or equal to 0.2 is melted by high-frequency heating by employing cold crucible method and subsequently the melt is cooled down by a controlled reduction of temperature thereof by targeted shift of the melt outside the high frequency field.</p> |
