A PROCESS WHICH MAKES A SLILICEOUS FERTILIZER AND THE SLILICEOUS FERTILIZER

A siliceous fertilizer is provided to supply silicic acid in a proper amount for the growth stage of agricultural crops by releasing silicic acid rapidly during the early growth stage and releasing silicic acid slowly after the early growth stage. A method for producing a siliceous fertilizer includes the steps of: grinding blast furnace slag into powder, and storing the powder in a first storage hopper(1); grinding clay mineral into powder, and storing the powder in a second storage hopper(2); charging the blast furnace slag powder and clay mineral powder stored in the first and second storage hoppers into a mixing device(4) using a transfer device(3); mixing the raw materials charged into the mixing device while spraying a silicic acid solution thereon; charging the raw materials into a molding device(5) to form the raw materials into predetermined particle size; charging the molded fertilizer into a drying device(6); drying the fertilizer; and transferring the dried fertilizer to a product storage hopper(7), and packaging the fertilizer. Further, the clay mineral is zeolite, and the silicic acid solution is sodium silicate(Na2SiO2) or potassium silicate(K2SiO3).
