PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyvinyl alcohol resin film by which the rigidity of a film is lowered and the stable formation of the crack-free film is realized as well as a method for manufacturing a laminate using the polyvinyl alcohol resin film. SOLUTION: When a polyvinyl alcohol resin is formed into a film with the help of a melt extruder, 0.1 to 20 cm<3> /min. of moisture per 1 cm<2> of the film are forcibly brought into contact with at least one of the sides of the film in a process from resin discharge to film take-up.
