PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitator in a tub, installable in a submerged pump device, without manufacturing an exclusive attachable-detachable connecting pipe. SOLUTION: This agitator 4 in the pump tub is installed in the submerged pump device 2 connected to the delivery side of a submerged pump body 3 and detachably arranged in the pump tub 1 via the attachable-detachable connecting pipe 23 for constituting an attaching-detaching device 13, and agitates in the pump tub 1 by delivering a part or the whole of a delivery flow of the submerged pump body 3 in the pump tub 1 for a specific time when starting operation of the submerged pump body 3. The agitator 4 in the tub is installed to the submerged pump device 2 by sandwiching a connecting part 22 being a base end part of a casing body 45 of the agitator 4 in the pump tub by the submerged pump body 3 and the attachable-detachable connecting pipe 23.
