An apparatus and a method for reducing a glitch in a switching device are provided to improve a DNL(Differential NonLinearity) characteristic and to reduce the glitch generated from an output of the switching device composed of segments. An apparatus for reducing a glitch in a switching device includes a latch(100), at least two switching element segment units(120), a glitch detection unit(130), and a voltage current converter unit(140). The latch(100) latches a digital input signal. Two switching element segment units(120) switch the digital signal outputted from the latch(100). The glitch detection unit(130) detects the glitch generated to an output of the switching element segment units(120). The voltage current converter(140) drives a latch control signal which controls overlapping of the latch output signal to reduce the size of the glitch detected in the glitch detection unit(130).
