An annunciation device for an elevator, where a car emergency button and a car speech communication device are provided in an elevator car, and where a landing emergency call button and a landing speech communication device are provided at a landing. A control device enables, according to operation of the car emergency call button, speech communication between the car speech communication device and an outside communication device, and also enables, according to operation of the landing emergency call button, speech communication between the landing speech communication device and the outside communication device.
