PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomimetic type polymer having not only regions capturing calcium ion but also regions capturing zinc ion and suitably usable for synthesizing calcium carbonate. SOLUTION: A copolymer having a molecular chain comprising constituent unit A represented by structural formula (A) and constituent unit B represented by structural formula (B) is provided.
