PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable cyclodextrin derivative giving a cured product high in light transmittance and having good film formability and high photoreactivity, and a photocurable composition containing the cyclodextrin derivative. SOLUTION: The cyclodextrin derivative is represented by general formula (1) (wherein R1is a group containing a hydrogen atom or an amide and an ester and n is an integer of 6-9).
