Provided is a differential oscillation device, which is intended to shorten the time period from an oscillation starting time to the reversals of the phases of output signals outputted from two output terminals. The differential oscillation device comprises a differential oscillation unit (103) including a switch circuit (104) having an external input terminal at the terminal of one transistor (105), a first control signal generating circuit (101) for generating a first control signal to control the oscillation start and the oscillation stop of the differential oscillation unit (103), and a second control signal generating circuit (102) for generating a second control signal to be inputted to the terminal of that one transistor (105) of the differential oscillation unit (103). The phase relation of the collector currents to flow to the two transistors (105, 106) is determined on the basis of the second control signal, so that the phases of the output signals to be outputted from the two output terminals are reversed from those at the oscillation starting time.
