PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibrations transmitted from a stator to a casing. SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 100 includes a motor casing 104 that stores a rotor and a stator 102, a bolt 200 that fastens the stator 102 to the motor casing 104, and a stacked-shim unit 202 that is provided around the axial portion of the bolt 200 between the stator 102 and the motor casing 104 and that absorbs at least the vibrations of the stator 102 in the direction that perpendicularly intersects the rotating shaft of the rotary electric machine 100.
